About the Role
Are you passionate about strengthening families and communities? Mercy Community is seeking a Local Level Alliance (LLA) Facilitator to join our team in Townsville.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in raising awareness of the Family and Child Connect service, building strong partnerships with service providers, and creating meaningful connections that support families.
Salary: $88,099 – $94,792 per annum (SCHADS L4) + superannuation + generous salary packaging
What you'll be doing
As a LLA Facilitator, Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, implement, and coordinate community outreach strategies
- Provide the community development component of the Family and Child Connect service within the Local Level Alliance (LLA)
- Undertake network mapping and raise awareness of service within the area
- Collaborate to identify client needs and deliver high-quality services within available resources
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who thrives on collaboration and is committed to making a difference. To be successful, you will have:
- Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Social Science or related discipline from a recognised institution
- Previous experience within the community development and/or family support with a sound understanding of the Queensland child protections system
- Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues, with a commitment to respectful engagement and practices
- Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver Licence
- Ability to obtain positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required
- Evidence of current vaccination against whooping cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
