About the Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Training Coordinator to lead and oversee a truly innovative Training Department on a mine site. Reporting to the Client's Health, Safety & Training Manager with support from MyneSight's Operations Manager, you will work as part of a close team. The Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing and delivering comprehensive training programs for all mine site personnel per the site based Training Needs Analysis as a minimum. This role focuses on improving operational safety, compliance with regulations, and skill development for employees and contractors on site. The Training Coordinator will collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain training needs, site based materials and track employee progress to maintain a high standard of performance, safety and compliance.

About the role:

  • Develop, schedule, co-ordinate and ensure delivery of training programs within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • Implement training programs tailored to the needs of the mine site including safety, equipment operation and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage onsite Trainer & Assessors to ensure they facilitate on-site training sessions for new employees, refresher courses and skill development per the agreed weekly plan.
  • Overall responsibility for site's Learning Management System (LMS) compliance.
  • Maintain detailed training records and ensure all employees are up-to-date with mandatory certifications and competency requirements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through performance evaluations, feedback and incident reporting analysis.
  • Collaborate with site departments to identify and prioritize training needs.
  • Advise MyneSight's Operations Manager of any changes to site's policies and procedure to ensure training materials are compliant.
  • Provide hands-on training if required within your approved skill and compliance to support operations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training methods.
  • Ensure that training and development programmes are delivered economically and effectively.
  • Review training and development needs/actions.
  • Provide formal and informal reports to identified personnel on a regular basis

About you:

Our ideal candidate will be an energetic team player and possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in Mining and Training.
  • Proven experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong time management and attention to detail essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with training management, record keeping and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in prioritising and managing concurrent tasks.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as a minimum.
  • High standard of personal integrity, professionalism and ability to work autonomously.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify emerging issues, problem solve and escalate in a timely manner.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment is essential.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
