Brix Projects are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team on a FIFO roster. If you have commissioning experience in fixed plant, this is an exciting long-term opportunity to work with a leading operator. 

Opportunity

Duties

  • Carry out all relevant Mechanical Fitting duties - 
  • Installation and maintenance of heavy equipment (Pumps, Compressors, ect.)
  • Installation and maintenance of steel structures
  • Competent to a high standard in non ticketed welding
  • Experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Fitting Pipework

    - Be able to read drawings
  • Be able to work in both a team and individually
  • Deliver works to the highest standard
  • Adhere too and practice all Workplace health and safety

Requirement

  • Hold a trade qualification (eg. fitter and turner, machinist, mechanical or mechanical), or other suitable related disciplines
  • White Card
  • Additional Tickets beneficial; Confined Space, Dogging, machine tickets
  • Have your own PPE and your own hand tools
  • You will need to be professional and take pride in your work
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Commissioning experience in fixed plant
