About the role

Unified Energy Services is seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to join our team as an inspector focusing on Solar Battery and HVAC. As an in-house - Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying and addressing any issues, and providing expert recommendations to maintain the integrity of our solar installations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive inspections of solar pv, battery and HVAC installations
  2. Focusing on pre-installation inspections
  3. Also complete quality and safety audits for residential and commercial installations
  4. Identifying and troubleshoot any faults or discrepancies
  5. Preparing detailed inspection reports, highlighting findings
  6. Liaising with clients and our technical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of any issues
  7. Adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations, ensuring the highest levels of workplace health and safety
  8. Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements

What we're looking for

  1. A current A Grade Electrician licence with a specialisation in solar and battery systems
  2. Experience in conducting inspections and testing of solar energy installations
  3. Strong technical and safety knowledge of solar, HVAC and battery systems, including installation and troubleshooting
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  5. Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and collaborate with our technical team
  6. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance
  7. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training
