  • 1 Day: On-site build and activation setup

About the Project

This December, guests will step into a sparkling winter wonderland for The Real Santa Experience – Meet & Greet with Santa Claus

This one-of-a-kind activation brings the magic of Christmas to life through a beautifully designed, immersive holiday set where guests can meet Santa, take professional photos, and share their wish lists.

Each guest's ticket includes:

  • A professional photo session (solo, duo, or family)
  • A North Pole mailbox to post wish lists
  • Digital photo delivery, with additional package options

Each ticket is valid for one family. Spaces are limited — this is a premium, once-a-season experience

Creative Direction & Theme

Theme: Classic Christmas Magic with a Modern Twist

Tone: Warm, magical, and family-friendly

Moodboard Keywords: Santa's Workshop, North Pole cabin, snowflakes, twinkling lights, red & gold accents, Christmas trees, gift boxes, faux snow

Key focus areas:

  • Santa's Photo Area: Cozy North Pole-inspired backdrop with Santa's chair, Christmas tree, wrapped gifts, and snow effects
  • Guest Waiting Zone: Subtle décor to extend the holiday theme (garlands, candy canes, signage)
  • Santa's Mail Corner: A festive mailbox and prop area for wish-list drops
  • Lighting & Atmosphere: Soft, warm, and enchanting

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to interpret the brand vision into a cohesive, immersive set.
  • Design, source, and build the full photo and activation area within the 3-day production schedule.
  • Source materials and props within 2 days, with clear communication on cost and availability.
  • Complete full set build and installation within 1 day on site.
  • Ensure all elements are safe, stable, and photo-ready.
  • Provide quick-turnaround creative solutions for layout, materials, and décor.
  • Attend and oversee the full setup and teardown process.
  • Work within budget and timeline constraints while maintaining high visual quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a set or event designer with a strong portfolio of themed activations or photo installations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of holiday aesthetics, spatial awareness, and material sourcing.
  • Ability to lead or coordinate with builders, stylists, and production crew.

Deliverables

  • Initial design concept and material plan (within 24 hours of onboarding).
  • Material sourcing list and estimated costs (Day 2).
  • On-site setup and styling completion (Day 3).
  • Post-installation walkthrough and approval.
