Compass Corp Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is seeking a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or qualified Tradesman to join our expanding team. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all aspects of air conditioning and refrigeration installation, service, and maintenance
  • Support the team in wiring, commissioning, and fault-finding HVAC systems
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and prioritise key tasks effectively
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, technicians, and apprentices
  • Uphold a positive and safe team culture
  • Complete compliance reports and job documentation to company standards

Requirements
  • Positive "can-do" attitude with adaptability and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
  • Legally eligible to work in NSW, with relevant training documentation
  • For Tradesman applicants: a current NSW Electrical Licence (preferred but not mandatory)

Desirable (for Tradesman applicants)
  • Experience with HVAC and mechanical systems (split, ducted, VRV/VRF)
  • Experience in wiring, commissioning, and troubleshooting control systems
  • Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000, AS 1668, and site safety requirements
  • Level 2 ASP qualification (highly regarded but not essential)
