About the business and the role

Ambient Services Group is an all-in-one commercial asset maintenance provider serving metropolitan Sydney. We work behind the scenes on some of the city's biggest buildings, offering everything from long-term asset management to emergency spot repairs.

Due to ongoing company growth, we are seeking HVAC&R Service Technician Apprentices (2nd, 3rd & 4th years) to join our Service Division, providing services to clients within the Sydney CBD and surrounding metropolitan areas.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Assist in the servicing and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Support fault-finding, repairs and system performance testing under supervision.
  • Assist in completing service reports, asset registers and job records.
  • Maintain tools, equipment and keep work sites, vehicles and client premises clean and safe.
  • Follow WHS procedures, manufacturer/industry installation guidelines, and site requirements.

Skills and experience

  • Current enrolment and progression toward Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (UEE32220); 2nd/3rd/4th-year status accepted.
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Drivers licence.
  • Technical problem solving skills.
