About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated
Manager – Sales
to drive B2B business growth in the travel industry across Melbourne and nearby regions. This role requires frequent travel, strong relationship-building skills, and excellent knowledge of the local travel trade market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow
    B2B travel agent relationships
    within the assigned region.
  • Drive
    branding, product positioning
    , and market expansion activities.
  • Generate
    new business opportunities
    , partnerships, and sales leads.
  • Conduct
    client training and onboarding
    on the company's travel booking platform.
  • Follow up on quotes, inquiries, and ongoing sales opportunities.
  • Maintain strong connections with existing customers while acquiring new ones.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams for pre-sales support.

Desired Profile

  • 2–6 years of experience in the
    travel or tourism industry
    .
  • Strong communication skills in English and local language.
  • Good understanding of
    local travel trade
    , B2B agency network, and outbound travel requirements.
  • Knowledge of global destinations, travel agents, and hotel networks.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office, email communication, and online tools
    .
  • Experience in outbound travel agencies is preferred.
  • IATA certification is an advantage.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Minimum
    2 years
    of experience in the travel industry.
  • Experience in
    Business Development and Account Management
    .
  • Valid
    Australian Driving License
    .
  • Candidates must have a valid
    work permit/visa
    .
  • Availability to travel
    80% of the time
    , meeting 5+ agents daily.
  • Notice Period: Up to 30 days.
