Cloud Cartel is growing and we're on the lookout for a Marketing Assistant with great energy, a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn. If you love all things digital, enjoy being creative, and want to grow your skills in a growing, fast-paced agency environment, you'll fit right in.

You'll collaborate closely with our marketing, web, and design teams across a wide range of fun and varied projects. This role begins part-time (3 days a week) with a clear pathway to full-time for the right person.

Responsibilities:

Working in partnership with the marketing and creative teams, you will be:

  • Creating engaging content for social media and digital platforms
  • Writing copy for blogs, ads, websites and marketing materials
  • Assisting with social media scheduling, management and community engagement
  • Supporting the delivery of PR activities
  • Helping produce video and graphic content for social channels
  • Assisting with PPC and social media advertising campaigns
  • Contributing to marketing strategies for a diverse client base
  • Collaborating with our marketing and creative teams on new ideas and concepts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • An eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills to manage & prioritise workloads
  • Team player, but can also work independently
  • Ability to show initiative
  • Thrive working in a close-knit, fast-paced and highly productive team
  • A good understanding of contemporary marketing practices and initiatives

Bonus skills (nice to have, not essential)

Experience with any of the following is preferred but not a requirement:

  • SEO principles
  • WordPress or other website platforms
  • Meta tools (Business Suite, Ads Manager)
  • Google Ads or other paid media channels (TikTok Ads or LinkedIn Ads or else)
  • Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Video editing (CapCut, etc.)
  • Photography or videography
