About the role

Rustys Marine is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Albany, Western Australia. As a full-time Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repair and maintenance services for our diverse range of marine equipment and vessels.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of marine engines, including outboards, inboards, and stern drives
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and trailer work
  • Inspect and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed of progress and recommendations
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Assist with the setup and installation of new marine equipment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in the marine industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Certification or training in marine mechanics is preferred
