The Role:

My client is an industry leader within the food manufacturing industry. Due to growth, they're looking for a hands-on Facilities Supervisor to keep this high standard food production site running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

You'll be the go to person for managing the maintenance, compliance, and functionality of facilities, ensuring our equipment, utilities, and environment meet the strict requirements of the food industry. 

Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Manage day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the site
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
  • Coordinate planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections
  • Support continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency and reliability

Your Background:

  • Trades Background (mechanical or electrical)
  • Prior experience in a facilities or maintenance role in the food or FMCG sector
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and health & safety requirements
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and contractors effectively
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
