Our client a leading manufacturer operating within a large, clean, and temperature-controlled facility. Our site features a mix of modern automated systems and trusted legacy machinery, offering an exciting and dynamic work environment for motivated operators.

We're seeking a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to support our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining various types of manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.

  • Day Shift: 7:30am – 3:35pm (4x required)
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm – 11:35pm
  • OT available on Saturdays (when required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery (including printing and bag production equipment) safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, team leaders, and maintenance staff to achieve production goals.
  • Identify and report equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.
  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities as required.

About you:

  • Proven experience operating a high-speed production line (highly regarded)
  • Background in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience in fibre-related industries (e.g., food packaging or paper) is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively
  • Positive team player with strong attention to detail
