What is the Role?

Join the School's world-class drama department with an outstanding reputation for excellence in the Performing Arts. This is a 12 month contract, with a 0.3 FTE load over four days per week. As part of the team of passionate, committed and professional staff, be supported to achieve the highest standards of drama teaching and production directing in superb facilities.

Who will the successful applicant be?

  • Recent experience in teaching Years Drama
  • Knowledge of recent developments in the theory and practice of senior secondary pedagogy and specifically how this applies to drama
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the Performing Arts team
  • Confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning in the classroom
  • An understanding of and commitment to the School's Christian framework, values and ethos

Though not essential, experience in teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) would be an advantage.

Who are we?

St Andrew's Cathedral School (SACS) is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican school located in two high-rise buildings in the heart of Sydney's CBD. The school offers students a strong academic program and extensive opportunities to be involved in sport, music, drama and outdoor education.

Child Safety
