About the role

We are currently seeking a Contract Service Manager to join our Melbourne-based team.

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing day-to-day operations across our major service accounts, acting as the main liaison between clients and our service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations and service delivery for major retail accounts (e.g., Bunnings, Woolworths, Coles)
  • Act as the point of contact for client escalations and queries for specific brands.
  • Represent Recom in monthly performance and reporting meetings with clients
  • Provide weekly category status updates to the General Manager
  • Support service technicians with technical queries and operational guidance
  • Ensure service standards and client expectations are consistently met or exceeded

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a similar construction or project-based hands on role role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with construction-specific software and systems an advantage
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

About You

  • Experience in service account management or operations in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Technical background and/or qualification as an electrician preferred
  • Confident in performance reporting and handling escalations professionally
  • Ability to lead, support and communicate with technicians on technical issues
