Our client is seeking a highly experienced an contract savvy executive to work with a large experienced team to ensure contractual and regulatory obligations are met for a major electrical infrastructure  project. You will be responsible for driving successful commercial and contract outcomes across a number of contracts including interface agreement and project deed. You will manage commercial obligations under the project deed, including third-party interfaces, and oversee compliance with milestones, claims, invoicing and amendments. Leading a major budget allocation, cash flow management, and financial oversight, you will insure timely payment, RSP adjustment, and accurate financial modelling with regular progress reports. This will include tracking the network operators progress against key milestones, addressing deviations promptly, and implementing risk mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives. You will manage regulatory interactions , including submissions of revenue proposal and ensure compliance with AER and consumer trustee requirements, particularly for the business RSPs, revenue adjustments, and financial audits.

Suitable candidates will have operated at the executive level and have experience or exposure to electrical infrastructure contracts. Your approach will be to manage and build strong positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, interfaces and the network provider. You will have experience reviewing and approving financial payments and invoices from the contractor in accordance with the requirements outlined in the project deed. You will be highly experienced leading commercial negotiations to resolve issues, amend contracts, and secure favourable outcomes, insuring alignment with strategic objectives and value for money goals across the project life cycle.
