State Director – Commercial Valuations (NSW)

A rare opportunity has opened for an experienced valuations leader to step into a State Director position and shape the strategic direction of a high-performing Commercial Valuations team in NSW.

This role is ideal for a driven Senior Associate Director, Associate Director or Division Lead who is ready to step up, take on broader leadership responsibility and have a more direct influence on team performance, client outcomes and commercial strategy.

What makes this opportunity different is the ability to operate with far less red tape, less overseas influence on decisions, and a flatter leadership structure than the large global firms. You will have more autonomy, faster decision-making, and the ability to directly impact growth without navigating layers of hierarchy.

The Role

  • Lead and grow the NSW Commercial Valuations team across a diverse client portfolio
  • Drive quality, consistency and best practice across reporting, risk, compliance and delivery
  • Manage key client relationships and support new business development activity
  • Support and mentor valuers at all levels, including CPV progression
  • Oversee financial performance, utilisation, team structure and resource planning
  • Play a central role in strategy, market positioning and long-term commercial growth

What We're Looking For

  • CPV qualified
  • Strong technical experience across commercial valuations
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring or developing valuers
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to influence performance and client outcomes
  • Driven, collaborative and motivated to step into a broader leadership remit
  • Candidates from larger Tier 1 environments are encouraged to consider this as a genuine step up into a more senior, impactful role
