We're Hiring: Occupational Therapist - Hybrid/Flexible

(Casual with option to move to part-time/full-time as case load builds)

Are you a values-driven Occupational Therapist looking for more meaning and flexibility in your work?

At The Connection Boutique, we deliver creative, capacity-building therapy that celebrates difference and builds connection, not compliance. We walk alongside children, young people, and adults - helping them understand themselves, build confidence, and thrive in their own way.

We're seeking an independent Occupational Therapist to provide approximately 10-15 hours per week of capacity-building support, with the option to build a larger case load if desired. This role is a hybrid and designed to flex around your existing commitments.

About you:

  • You are confident working with children, teens, and adults
  • You understand (or are willing to learn) identify-affirming, person-centred practice
  • You have experience supporting the functional development of individuals with disabilities
  • You are passionate about empowering people across the lifespan
  • You're collaborative, self-motivated, and aligned with a relational, capacity-building approach
  • You value flexibility, integrity, and connection in your work

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience with Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Familiarity with NDIS processes and report writing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • ABN (company structure preferred; sole trader also accepted)
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Mandatory Training Certificates (or willingness to complete)
  • Car license
  • Reliable internet, laptop, and confidential workspace
