THE REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in law with solid academic results
  • Admitted to practice law in Australia
  • At least 1 year experience in an Australian migration law firm
  • Experienced in obtaining client instructions, conducting client meetings and appearing at tribunal level if required
  • Must be confident with IT and 100% client-focused
  • Must approach your work with a compassionate and kind manner with clients and their situation.

THE ROLE

  • Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000
  • Interviewing clients to determine the nature of problems and recommending and undertaking appropriate legal action.
  • Researching legal matters.
  • Drafting documents like record of responses, submissions and Tribunal and Court documents.
  • Representing clients at the Administrative Review Tribunal.
  • Apply the firm's style guide and document standards to ensure consistency in format, language, structure, and tone.
  • Track legislative, regulatory, and procedural changes and ensure timely updates to affected clients or matters.
