Applications close: 5pm Monday 21 July 2025
The Role: This position requires someone who is a natural mentor and connector, someone who loves what Inner West Neighbour Aid stands for and who loves their job, because it "doesn't feel like a job". The Senior Coordinator, Staff and Volunteers, is responsible for the leadership, coordination, and development of our people – both staff and volunteers. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive and inclusive organisational culture, ensuring we attract, retain, support, and develop a skilled and motivated workforce aligned with the purpose, vision and values of Inner West Neighbour Aid.
Our Organisation: In our community, we demonstrate that ageing is a time of possibility, not limitation. Self-discovery, achievement and connection continues throughout life, no matter the age. Inner West Neighbour Aid is a not for profit community organisation, established for over 30 years that provides social outings, workshops, exercise classes, intergenerational connections, centre based groups and programs around the home for seniors living in the inner west. We also support seniors who want to stay living in their homes safely and independently with garden and lawn maintenance and assistance with pets. Neighbour Aid also maintains the 5 Senses Garden in Rhodes Park, Concord West in partnership with the City of Canada Bay Council. The 5 Senses Garden is an inclusive green space that promotes involvement in nature, veggie pods, culture and play. The organisation is primarily funded under the Commonwealth Home Support Program and other grants.

- Work from home option, dependent on program and staffing needs.
- Small organisation vibe with a big heart and respected reputation in the community.
