HR admin/payroll role immediately available

  • Great opportunity for someone starting out their HR career or for someone returning to the workforce that wants to get back into HR/payroll admin working within a fun, flexible, small team.
  • This is a dual role reporting to both the GM People & Culture and GM of Finance
  • Learn (or build on your existing knowledge) the foundations of HR and payroll in a fun and comfortable environment
  • Coordinate payroll and assist with HR admin working across our construction company which is privately owned/operated
  • Rhodes office location with parking
  • Part time position to fit in with your lifestyle and flexible working options available

Key responsibilities

Payroll:

  • The role will be responsible for the coordination of the Paynter Dixon payroll and with our outsourced provider Roubler.
  • Preparation and communication of monthly Payroll changes to our outsourced provider
  • Review of monthly and/or OOC Payroll payments
  • Maintaining accurate data within Roubler and assisting with improvements where relevant
  • Preparation of EOM reports for Finance
  • Providing relevant administrative assistance to the GM of Finance and the Board of Directors as required

HR:

  • Onboarding
  • Offboarding
  • HR reporting
  • HR document creation and management i.e. contracts and letters
  • Managing and maintaining confidential employee records
  • Maintenance of our HRIS, ELMO
  • Assisting with management of tickets and training bookings, record keeping
  • Providing relevant administrative assistance to the GM of People & Culture and the Board of Directors as required.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • be a good communicator who can read the room and amend your style accordingly
  • be well-presented and professional in all dealings
  • have a strong understanding and appreciation of confidentiality and the sensitivity that surrounds everything you do
  • have previous experience with payroll coordination
  • have strong attention to detail
  • have knowledge/some experience in or be studying HR in some capacity
  • have a good sense of humour and a positive team-oriented attitude
