Join our award-winning team at Elements of Byron, a luxury beachfront resort set on the iconic Belongil Beach. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Full-Time Demi Chef to join our culinary team at Summersalt, our Mediterranean-inspired food truck located at the adults-only pool.

As a Demi Chef at Summersalt, you'll be working with modern Mediterranean cuisine, creating fresh and exciting dishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The perks of this role include full-time work, five days of day shifts only and the opportunity to grow your culinary skills and gain valuable experience.

We're seeking someone with previous experience in a Demi Chef or similar role, ideally within a hotel or resort environment, with a passion for delivering high-quality, consistent dishes and the flexibility to work on a full-time roster.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Demi Chef or similar role, ideally within a hotel or resort environment
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, consistent dishes
  • Flexibility to work across breakfast and lunch shifts (38 hours per week)
  • Full availability, including weekends and public holidays
  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Only applicants with permanent residency or unrestricted working rights in Australia will be considered
  • A genuine interest in learning and developing your culinary career
