Our Geospatial Solutions group is seeking a skilled Senior Associate Geospatial Consultant to be based in Queensland. This hybrid role, based out of our Brisbane office, offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of innovative geospatial and digital solutions across a diverse range of client projects.

In this role, you will

  • Drive business growth by building and nurturing strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Lead and manage the successful delivery of geospatial and digital projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, offering strategic direction and mentoring to team members within the Geospatial Solutions section.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and resilience within the team, while maintaining a strong focus on project excellence and commercial performance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, including disciplined investment decisions and proactive commercial management.

Here's what you'll need

Your attributes of being a self-starter align with Jacobs' desire for the continued improvement and development of the geospatial discipline within Digital Solutions. You will need demonstrated

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Geospatial disciplines or similar, complemented by substantial experience in geospatial roles and exposure to project management within the geospatial domain.
  • Proven expertise in geospatial products and services using ESRI suite. Additional desirable capabilities include ESRI enterprise portal architecture, FME or python automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing strong client relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Preferred experience in providing strategic advisory services to clients.
  • Track record of success in leading large-scale geospatial projects and contributing to bid processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a commitment to mentoring and supporting team development
  • Ability to contribute to resilient, engaged, and adaptable team culture within the Geospatial Solutions Section, driving innovation while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
