Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants, driving a high-performing team.
  • Review and approve complex tax returns, BAS/IAS, and compliance filings for diverse clients.
  • Serve as the primary client and ATO contact, resolving queries and representing the firm.
  • Deliver strategic tax advice, identifying optimization and risk mitigation opportunities.
  • Lead process improvements and ensure timely, accurate compliance delivery.
  • Oversee tax compliance quality and scale operations as we grow.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years in Australian tax accounting, with supervisory/review experience.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and projects under pressure.
  • Strong client/ATO engagement and clear advice delivery.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Advanced skills in Xero Tax, QuickBooks, Xero; MYOB a plus.
  • CPA/CA/IPA (or equivalent) with a commitment to professional growth.
