Come and join our nearly one year old growing service at Discovery Cove ELC in South Yunderup. You'll play a vital role in shaping the next generation as you lead our baby room, working alongside our outstanding team of fellow educators. Discovery Cove ELC is a supportive team that will help you grow in your own educational practice, with a high quality program with close collaboration.

What you will do in this role?

  • Provide leadership and guidance to our baby room team.
  • Work closely together with other educators throughout our centre to achieve goals.
  • Work with our families, and our community, to promote the best practices in customer service in an early learning centre environment.
  • Be someone that other educators can look up to and learn from.
  • Ensure legal compliance and uphold child safety standards, including mandatory reporting obligations.

  • Previous room leader experience preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved) PREFERRED but willingness to work towards considered.

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (Can be completed if successful)

Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and regulations

Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.17 – $40.54 per hour
