Join Sunwater as a Business Accounting Officer, where you'll play a vital role in the finance team driving financial excellence through a rules-based approach, ensuring clarity and accountability in owned responsibilities while supporting the business. As a Business Account Officer at Sunwater, you will:

• Prepare financial transactions & records, including journals, reconciliations and month end processes
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactional activity compliant with accounting guidelines
• Administer and support cost accounting processes, as well as budgeting and forecasting processes when required
• Administer and support activities associated with Sunwater's business accounting ERP master data.

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in accounting and be working towards your CA or CPA.
This role is a 12-month contract position
. You will hold tertiary qualifications in accounting, business or equivalent discipline. You will also bring:

• Analyse Financial Information:
  Research and analyze financial information to support sound financial management and answer stakeholder queries
• Strategic vision:
  Ability to design and deliver project, program, portfolio improvement strategies and programs
• Communication skills:
  Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
