Altitude Facades NSW Pty Ltd is a specialist in high-end glass and aluminium façade solutions. We work on complex, architectural projects across Sydney and beyond, delivering innovative façade systems to some of the most challenging and exciting builds.

We're now looking for a Head Estimator to join our team in a flexible, part-time capacity.

What You'll Do

As our Head Estimator, you'll be a key part of the business, driving our tendering process and helping us win work. Your role will involve:

  • Acting as Head Estimator while directly engaging with clients via phone, email, Teams, and in-person during tender periods.
  • Streamlining and improving our estimating processes.
  • Collaborating with our Estimating Cadet (who reports to our GM, Daniel).
  • Maintaining and managing our tender tracking system (invitations, pending, lost, won, etc.).
  • Preparing pricing breakdowns, quote sheets, document control, and RFIs.
  • Communicating with architects, builders, and project teams to clarify drawings and resolve discrepancies.
  • Conducting occasional site visits to gain construction insights and assist with pre-tender planning.
  • Liaising with Project Managers to manage variations, documentation, and submissions.
  • Contributing to monthly reporting: win/loss rates, margins, sales, and visual breakdowns.
  • Helping identify new suppliers to improve our pricing competitiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid estimating experience in the glass, aluminium, or façade industry (Head Estimator experience highly regarded).
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging directly with clients.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to take ownership of processes.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, RFIs, and tender submissions.
