The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a great team mindset and be comfortable working in a large busy venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to all guests
  • Greet, seat, and serve customers with minimal wait times
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the restaurant at all times (setting tables, polishing cutlery, topping condiments, clearing tables, etc.)
  • Take food and beverage orders efficiently, including offering wine matching options
  • Share information about the Currumbin RSL Loyalty program with guests
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a consistent customer experience
  • Support with whole-of-venue food and cleaning service as required
  • Comply with food safety, workplace health and safety, and responsible service of alcohol requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Skills
  • A friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service focus
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and presentation
  • Willingness to learn and follow Currumbin RSL's standards and "The Currumbin RSL Way"
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene (training provided)
  • RSA certification
