Role Purpose
The
Partnership Manager
plays a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing our network of
Home Care Package (HCP)
and
Support at Home
providers across Australia.
This role bridges relationships between
providers
and
participants
, ensuring both sides experience value, clarity, and confidence throughout the care journey.
You'll be responsible for building long-term partnerships with providers while supporting participants as they navigate care options—from initial matching to onboarding and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Management
- Identify, engage, and onboard new home-care and community-care providers aligned with My Care Options' quality and service standards.
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with providers—acting as their trusted liaison and advisor.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and manage referral relationships that create mutual value.
- Support providers with insights, trends, and strategies to improve participant satisfaction and referral conversion.
Participant Support & Guidance
- Assist participants and their families in understanding
Home Care Packages (HCP)
and upcoming
Support at Home reforms
. - Provide clear, empathetic guidance on how to access, switch, or maximise their home-care funding options.
- Help participants navigate their care journey—from inquiry to connection with a suitable provider.
- Ensure every participant feels supported, informed, and empowered to make the right choice.
Network Growth & Performance
- Monitor provider performance (response times, conversion, satisfaction) and initiate improvement discussions when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams (matching, marketing, operations) to enhance the provider onboarding and participant referral process.
- Maintain accurate partnership data within CRM systems and generate reports on network performance and growth opportunities.
- Represent My Care Options at industry events, expos, and networking sessions to strengthen brand presence and establish new relationships.
Key Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years' experience
in partnership development, relationship management, or business development—preferably within
aged care, home care, or healthcare services
. - Strong understanding of
Home Care Packages (HCP)
and the upcoming
Support at Home reforms
. - Ability to explain funding structures, care options, and eligibility criteria to participants and families with clarity and empathy.
- Proven ability to build strategic, trust-based relationships with external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and deliverables simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret partner performance data.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and reporting tools.
- Passion for improving aged-care access, transparency, and quality outcomes for older Australians.
