About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments, while maintaining compliance with NDIS guidelines and delivering exceptional service to participants and providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions, including NDIS-related invoices and reimbursements.
- Ensure invoices are accurate, valid, and in line with NDIS price guides and participant plans.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Respond to queries from participants, providers, and internal teams regarding payments and claims.
- Assist with compliance reporting and audit requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of finance and processes.
About You
- Previous experience in finance, accounts payable, or bookkeeping (NDIS or disability sector experience highly regarded).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Knowledge of NDIS funding, guidelines, and processes (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks highly desirable, training provided if not familiar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
