Full Time Electronic & Equipment Maintenance & Production Hand - Food Manufacturing

Babushka's Kefir manufactures and distributes freshly made kefir probiotic yoghurts

throughout Australia. The brand is well established and known for its quality and

authenticity. Our customers include Woolworths, Coles, Harris Farm and IGA's.

This is a full time role.

Responsible for maintaining all electronic equipment on the factory floor to ensure the

smooth running of production processes, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment

issues using manuals, collaborating with operators and equipment providers to enhance

performance and reliability, maintaining accurate logs and updating records, responding

promptly to equipment breakdowns

In addition, you will be required to perform all kefir yoghurt manufacturing and product packing and handling functions.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial

Maintenance preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or

production environment.

Experience with pumps, conveyors, filling machines, chillers, and labeling equipment is an

advantage.

Experience as production hand in yoghurt manufacturing industry is a distinct advantage.

Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and use of CMMS (Computerized

Maintenance Management Systems).

Experience in dairy food manufacturing processes.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Good time management and the ability to perform under pressure.

High attention to detail and strong commitment to safety.

Other Requirements:

Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, or on-call as required.

Experience and knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly in fermentation and dairy

processing is advantageous. You are someone who can work effectively in a team environment,

be relied upon, can take on responsibility and can manage your daily duties without much

supervision. Overtime work including weekend work is available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 50 per week
