About the role

MSS Security is looking for a Site Supervisor to join a high-security environment and lead a high-performing security team at a prestigious banking precinct in Townsville.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-stakes environment requiring professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to operational security. Monday to Friday role with occasional weekend work and on call/incident management needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily security operations across the site, ensuring compliance with procedures and protocols

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident reports

  • Liaise with stakeholders and maintain strong communication with site management

  • Monitor and manage access control systems, alarms, and CCTV

  • Enforce security and safety policies across the facility

  • Respond to emergencies and incidents efficiently and professionally and maintain response time KPIs

  • Manage a team of security officers and provide leadership support

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, ideally in a corporate or similar environment

  • Valid QLD Security License - control room and crowd control endorsed

  • Valid First Aid and CPR

  • Strong understanding of physical security practices and site access control

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and lead by example

  • Strong organisational and incident management skills
