Lead, inspire, and shape the future of nursing education and research.
We're seeking a visionary academic leader to guide the discipline of nursing at UQ. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives across teaching, research, and engagement, while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You'll play a pivotal role in advancing the school's academic priorities and will be expected to undertake the Head of Discipline role for the first 2-3 years.
In this role, you will:
- Lead curriculum innovation and deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Drive impactful research and secure significant external funding.
- Supervise Higher Degree by Research students and mentor early career academics.
- Build strategic partnerships with clinical and research stakeholders.
- Represent the discipline nationally and internationally through scholarly leadership.
