Your new role:

We are seeking a motivated Nurse Research Clinical Nurse (NRCN) to join our highly regarded Intensive Care Unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital. In this developmental role, you will contribute to nurse-led research that shapes practice and improves patient outcomes. You will:

Support and undertake high-quality, ethically sound research under the guidance of the Professor of Critical Care Nursing.

Contribute to literature searches, research proposals, ethics/governance applications, and data collection.

Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary ICU team to integrate research with holistic nursing care.

Promote a culture of evidence-based practice, education, and quality improvement.

About you:

You are a clinically experienced ICU nurse with a passion for advancing nursing research and practice through inquiry, collaboration, and innovation. You will possess:

A minimum of three (3) years' ICU experience.

Strong critical thinking, clinical leadership, and problem-solving skills within a complex healthcare environment.

Demonstrated interest or experience in research processes, project work, or academic writing.

Commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement, and person-centred care.
