Lead the strategic management of our city's assets and transport future.

At Georges River Council, we're building a more connected, sustainable and vibrant community. As Manager Assets and Traffic, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for the strategic management of Council's asset portfolio — including roads/ transport, open space, stormwater drainage and buildings — ensuring assets are planned, maintained and developed in a financially sustainable way.

You'll oversee the delivery of Council's Asset Management Framework, Strategic Asset Management Plan and capital works programs, while driving innovation, proactive planning and cross-Council collaboration. This is a key leadership role shaping the city's transport planning, traffic management and long-term infrastructure sustainability.

What We Offer

  • Total Remuneration Package: $207,497 – $238,281 per annum

    (Inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation, and a $10,780 vehicle allowance.)
  • Long service leave after 5 years
  • Additional 5 days manager's leave credited on your anniversary date

  • Based at the Civic Centre in Hurstville CBD

What We Are Looking For

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field
  • Proven leadership in asset management or infrastructure strategy
  • Strong experience in budgeting, planning and project delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
