Role Description/Criteria

CtP is an integral part of the faith community of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs and is one of two primary schools in the parish. CtP is governed by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Limited. MACS is the employer of employees at Christ the Priest Catholic Primary School.

Christ the Priest (CtP) Catholic Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

We are seeking candidates with the following desired qualities:

  1. Be faith-filled with a strong commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students

  2. A collaborative approach with colleagues, parents and students.

  3. Strong behaviour management practices

  4. Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and experience in teaching Languages or Auslan is preferred

Special Requirements

  • be committed to child safety, maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices.

  • have read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education'.

  • only applicants who have completed the CtP Application Form will be considered.

  • hold current VIT registration.
