We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Group Manager to lead our Resources & Industrial operations in the East. This is a high-impact leadership role with a strong warehousing focus, offering autonomy to shape operations, elevate performance, and influence long-term business direction.

Reporting directly to the President of Resources & Industrial, you will lead across a diverse portfolio, setting strategic direction, building customer partnerships, and driving commercial, operational and safety outcomes. Your deep warehousing expertise and strong leadership presence will be pivotal in delivering sustainable growth and continuous improvement across a complex, multi-site operation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing commercial and operational leadership across warehousing and transport operations, with full P&L accountability and a focus on customer retention, growth and service excellence
• Building and strengthening strategic customer relationships, identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation within existing partnerships
• Translating high-level business objectives into executable operational strategies, fostering a culture of agility, accountability and continuous improvement
• Leading geographically dispersed cross-functional teams, developing talent, and championing a high-performance, customer-first mindset
• Overseeing operating budgets and guiding teams to optimise warehousing processes, equipment utilisation and resource planning
• Embedding a robust safety culture while delivering measurable productivity, quality and compliance outcomes

You will bring:

• Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within warehousing and transport operations
• A strong commercial mindset with a thorough understanding of rate structures, cost-to-serve, P&L management, and performance analytics
• A proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, foster trusted customer partnerships and lead contract execution
• A record of building and mentoring diverse, high-performing teams across multiple locations
• A continuous improvement orientation with strong analytical, systems and process thinking capabilities
