About The Role

  • Team Global Express is seeking a Supervisor to join our team at our Larapinta Location on Brisbane's Southside
  • Working hours are 6:00 – 14:00 Monday to Friday
  • Cost effectively manage labour and equipment resources while ensuring safety compliance.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and complete inductions for new drivers.
  • Manage DIFOT performance metrics to meet or exceed targets.
  • Maintain direct contact with major customers and Account Managers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Occasionally allocate local pick-ups as required.
  • Maximise load capacities in line with our OHS policies and Department of Main Roads regulations, ensuring efficient sorting and loading.
  • Conduct driver debriefs and audit checks to confirm Proof of Pickup or Delivery is accurate and complete.
  • Ensure compliance with safe driver plans, quarantine declarations, Australian DG code, fatigue management legislation, and vehicle weight limits.
  • Oversee removal of freight from overweight vehicles, safeguarding time-sensitive items.
  • Maintain manifest accuracy and timely reporting of operational variations impacting the network.
  • Work in accordance with the branch EBA.
  • Carry out other duties as directed by the Branch Manager.
