As part of our expanding WA Operations team, we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and organized Mechanical Fitter to join us at our Kenwick branch. T

he opportunity will see you
will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, testing, and maintaining high-quality pump equipment across various industries. Your expertise will ensure equipment is serviced safely, efficiently, and to Dynapumps standards, supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Diagnosing pump conditions and providing detailed reports to facilitate repairs
  • Performing fitting, machining, assembly, and repair of equipment
  • Conducting factory testing and hydrostatic testing of pipework and pump packages
  • Updating drawings to reflect final build conditions
  • Laser alignment of pump assemblies for optimal performance
  • Monitoring stock levels and managing consumables
  • Assisting with site service work and providing on-site support as required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with 5S standards

What You Will Need
:

  • Qualified tradesperson (Mechanical Fitter or equivalent) or minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Excellent troubleshooting, fault-finding, and diagnostic skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work safely and follow HSEQ policies diligently

What Will Be Advantageous:

  • Experience with laser alignment (highly regarded)
  • Flange management expertise
  • Commissioning experience
  • A safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
