The Dalgaranga Gold Mine processing plant is currently in care and maintenance and is part of the wider Mt Magnet hub, with a projected mine life of over 17 years and a range of high-grade ore sources, and excellent exploration upside. This is a role that could be an excellent transition to FIFO plant maintenance if you are seeking a first step into the industry, with time to build your knowledge and understanding of the plant.

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations on the fixed plant equipment at Dalgaranga. There may be additional village maintenance tasks too, on an adhoc basis.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on crushers, mills, conveyors, pumps, and other processing plant equipment.
• Completing work orders in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensuring all isolations are performed safely and according to procedures.
• Assisting and supporting team members on site with adhoc mechanical tasks when required.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards in the workshop and plant.
• Actively participating in pre-starts, safety meetings, and hazard reporting.

About You
We Are Looking For a Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter With Hands-on Experience In Mining Or a Heavy Industrial Environment. You Will Bring

• Australian Recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate (Cert III or equivalent).
• High Risk Work Licence (LF & WP).
• Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry training.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and perform troubleshooting.
• WA C class manual driver's licence.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ideally, some experience with Metso crushers, SAG mills, conveyors, or similar equipment (desirable).
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as Pronto, SAP, or AMT (desirable).
• Additional High-Risk Work Licences, e.g., EWP, dogging, rigging, forklift (desirable).
