About the role
Temporary opportunity to provide, under the direction of the Director Medical Services Redcliffe Hospital, effective operational leadership in the management of Medical Services within Redcliffe Hospital which enables the provision of quality, safe patient care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
- Operate as professionally responsible to the DMS Redcliffe Hospital.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Facilitate, under the direction of the Director Medical Services Redcliffe Hospital, delivery of programs and services (including clinical governance, medico legal, research and medical workforce) consistent with policy, legislation and award provision for the Redcliffe Hospital and to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and outcomes of these services.
