About the Role

Masada College is seeking an experienced Senior School Learning Support Assistant to commence ASAP. This role is full time, permanent required during term time only, commencing in late January 2026.

This role will support and assist teachers and learning support staff through the provision of planned and coordinated programs tailored for the behavioural, academic, socio-emotional and spiritual development of students with diverse learning needs. The College has a very strong team ethos, with all staff sharing in the development of support plans and strategies.

  • To be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers and assistants, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community.
  • To have a willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and achievement.
  • An understanding and be able to support teaching of the NSW Curriculum
  • The initiative and ability to scaffold and differentiate tasks to assist classroom teachers
  • To provide support with the preparation and sourcing of learning resources and assessment for students whose current achievement is significantly below their current stage of schooling
