Inclusion Support Educator

We are currently seeking an amazing Inclusion Support Educator to join the team at our award-winning Early Childhood service in Orange, NSW

About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will be based in one of our toddlers spaces and energetic, creative, dedicated and driven to assist children with additional needs to independently engage with their peers and learning environment. You'll work closely with the broader team to implement tailored strategies that promote confidence, participation and a sense of belonging. Your ability to build trusting relationships and adapt to individual needs will be key to helping every child thrive.

• Inclusive of others and brings a positive attitude every day
• Interest in, passion for and/or experience in working with children with additional needs
• Open to our innovative and unique way of programming, practice and pedagogy as well as the RIE approach
• Enthusiastic, committed and reliable individual who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service
• Ability and motivation to build and foster positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community
• ACECQA approved Early Childhood or Allied Health qualifications i.e. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or working towards (highly regarded).

Essential Criteria:

• Understanding of contemporary child safe practices or willing to acquire this knowledge
• Valid NSW Working With Children Check or willing to obtain one prior to commencement
• Available for permanent part-time employment worked across Mondays and Tuesdays and 12 hours a week
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training, with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).
