Role Summary

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a dynamic local team? We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to take ownership of end-to-end AP functions, with a strong focus on reconciliations and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities
As our Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing Purchase Orders, Invoices accurately and on time
  • Performing supplier account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Assisting with month-end close and reporting tasks
  • Supporting general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of site administration requirements
  • Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experienced in Accounts Payable and account reconciliations (minimum 2 years' experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting software - Microsoft Based - Business Central.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Ability to meet pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
  • Police clearance (within 6 months)
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Based locally in Kalgoorlie, WA
