Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Mill Operator to join our team at our clients Kingsthorpe location for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machinery, specifically milling equipment, and have a background in maintenance, cleaning, and production processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate milling equipment to produce high-quality products

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance

  • Monitor inventory levels and order raw materials as needed

  • Follow work orders and manufacturing processes to meet production goals

  • Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment

  • Utilize computer systems to track production and inventory levels

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

  • Make decisions on production processes to ensure efficiency and quality

  • Responsible for the efficient operation of the mill and production processes

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Mill Operator or similar role

  • Valid current Forklift Ticket

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

  • Proficiency in operating computer systems and machinery

  • Must pass able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol

  • Experience with loading and unloading materials using forklifts

  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently

  • Committed to meeting production goals and deadlines

  • Knowledge of security protocols in a manufacturing setting
