JBS Australia’s Northern Division operates five strategically-placed processing facilities as well as five feedlots across Queensland and New South Wales, with access to an extensive network of quality cattle. Our network provides the ability to meet the specific demands of various market segments with an extensive range of grain-fed and pasture-fed products.

**About the Role**: Beef City Feedlot is a 26,500 capacity feedlot situated on the Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road between Oakey and Pittsworth on the Darling Downs.

Feedlot Location: 35 km west Toowoomba, 15 km from Oakey and 20 km from Pittsworth.

An opportunity exists to become a part of the Feedlots Mill & Feed team.

**Responsibilities include **(but are not limited to)**:

- Undertake prestart inspections of all machinery prior to operation;
- Report any mechanical faults to supervisor;
- Operation of Loaders to batch and load commodities for feeding out;
- Operation of Loaders to clean pens, load trucks and associated tasks of a feedlot environment;
- Operate feed trucks to roll out feeding schedule assigned;
- General labouring type duties; and
- Additional tasks as directed by the Mill Supervisor

**About you**:
You will:

- possess a good work ethic, be reliable and committed with a positive attitude;
- Have sound plant operation skills;
- have a willingness to learn;
- be able to conduct physical work and be available for shift work where required;
- have reliable transport and drivers license; and
- have been Q fever vaccinated or willing to have Q fever vaccination.

Dependent on the position, any of the following are advantageous:

- Previous experience with operating front end loaders, truck operations, bob cats and associated machinery;
- HR Licenses and machinery tickets an advantage but not essential;
- Ability to work machinery in tight working environments;
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
