Position
We are excited to be looking for a Sales Manager based in Melbourne to support our activities and growth in the region.
We are looking for an individual to establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts and leverage those relationships to identify, qualify and realize potential commercial opportunities.
Working to achieve your sales target, the key areas of responsibility are:
- Champion VITEC products and position VITEC as the IPTV, IP Video and Digital Signage solution of choice within target market sectors – Corporate, Finance, Education, Government, Defence, Hospitality, Healthcare, Venues & Stadiums
 - Demonstrate success of managing and owning the full Sales lifecycle
 - Manage top AV and IT partners in your region
 - Set out partner path to success – including delivering sales & technical training and using demonstration equipment
 - Consultant and End User focused approach
 - Engage with Partners in the system design, delivery and support of VITEC solutions
 - Foster strategic 3rd party technology relationships
 - Forecast monthly/quarterly/annual sales volume for each partner and region
 
Requirements
About You:
To be successful in the role we are looking for you to have the following skills, knowledge & experience:
Essential
- Have experience managing market vertical/reseller accounts within the Audio-Visual industry
 - Have existing relationships with top AV and IT integrators
 - Have a strong technical background with an excellent understanding of IPTV, Video Streaming and Digital Signage solutions
 - Be able to demonstrate consistent and significant contribution in previous individual sales roles
 - Have experience selling enterprise-class solutions across assigned vertical sectors
 - Display entrepreneurial spirit, have a self-sufficient and engaging personality with excellent relationship skills and follow through
 
Desirable
- Having existing relationships and previous experience in ANZ would be an advantage
 - Have existing strong relationships with Consultants and End Users
 - Have a good understanding of IP networking
 - Ideally have worked for another IP/AV technology vendor selling to partners or as an integrator selling and engaging with End Users and Consultants.
 
Candidates from an IT/SMATV sales background with a strong understanding of AV/IT convergence and multi-media technologies will also be considered.
Qualification/Other

- Valid drivers licence
 - This role requires frequent travel in the region

- Bachelor's degree
 - AV Industry certifications
