JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for all Area field sales activities including customer contact, contract initiation, market activity monitoring, and intelligence gathering. Responsible for analyzing markets, developing sales and marketing plans, forecasting sales, and monitoring sales program implementation. Develop and maintains sales relationships with major customers. Develop and implements major account sales strategies to increase sales and profits through major accounts. May service one major account. May supervise other sales/field service representatives but is considered a senior level sales person who is expected to make customer sales calls.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Analytics, General:
- Call and/or visit existing customers and target accounts to identify needs, establish buying cycles and to facilitate a strong customer-supplier relationship.
- Ensure the timely review, strategy developments, accurate evaluations and effective bids on all inquiries
- Develop and maintains direct line responsibilities with key accounts, ensuring a climate of positive business relationships with customers to meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned area
- Continually evaluate the market within assigned areas, remain totally aware of the competitive environment and profitable status of each account
- Identify opportunities to grow the regional customer base and prepare action plans to convert sales prospects into new accounts.
- Conduct technical presentations and discussions to promote the product.
- Visit ongoing installation projects to understand product applications and to help in developing strong customer relationships
- Participate in local marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
- Identify and resolve client concerns should any arise.
- Prepare a variety of status reports such as sales forecasts, and progress to goals.
- Travel extensively within the region and as necessary to support scheduled sales meetings.
- Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
- Able to understand customer needs and aware industry trends and market developments that drive buyer behaviors.
Communication
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with all internal functional areas of Company in order to facilitate and achieve all sales objectives.
- Must possess an excellent understanding and writing of English usage and ability to communicate with all types of people on the phone, via email or more formal communications

- Must possess a solid technical background; sound judgment and good business sense; team working ability; the ability to build relationships with clients quickly; analytical and problem-solving skills; resilience and tenacity; independence.
- Must be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales and knowledge of pipeline and oil and gas technology; comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
- Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports; able to effectively articulate the strengths of the product and adapt the presentation to address the main areas of interest of each customer.
- Must be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches and be prepared for extensive travel.
QHSE
- Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
- Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
- Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order
- Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations

JOB RELEVANT INFORMATION (BOUNDARIES & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY)
- Ensure that the orders are accurately entered into ERP/CRM and correct invoicing is being issued as per client requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree, 5-10 years of related experience or commensurate combination of education and experience.
- Job requires excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to work under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
- Computer skills required and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other software programs.
- General understanding of CRM and ERP systems, processes, and procedures.
