Senior Communications Advisor
to help shape the stories behind some of Queensland's most transformative transport infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and delivery of strategic communication plans and engagement campaigns.
  • Translate complex project information into clear, relatable messages for the community.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, from contractors to local community groups.
  • Deliver high-quality materials including media releases, newsletters, and social content.
  • Provide expert communication and engagement advice to senior leaders and project teams.
  • Stay ahead of challenges, ensuring communications flow as smoothly as our transport networks.

What We're Looking For

You're a natural storyteller with a knack for turning complexity into clarity. To succeed, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in communications, public relations, or stakeholder engagement (government or infrastructure background highly regarded).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive messaging in fast-paced environments.
  • A track record of engaging communities and building stakeholder confidence.
  • Experience working within or alongside government departments.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, PR, or related field (desirable).
  • IAP2 Certification (advantageous).
