Part Time Accounts Officer, 3-4 days per week

We are seeking a Part Time Accounts Officer/Administrator for an established and successful business based at Salisbury.

The role is offered as around 24 hours per week, either Monday to Wednesday, or across school hours from Monday to Thursday, will flexibility around start and finish times.

Duties will include:

  • Accounts payable - receiving, processing verifying and reconciling invoices
  • Paying suppliers and resolving discrepancies
  • Provide holiday cover for Payroll - training will be provided
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger
  • Contribute to improving systems and processes
  • Ad hoc finance and admin duties to support the team

About you:

  • Prior experience in accounts payable and general accounts administration
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and to meet deadlines
  • Strong integrity and confidentiality
  • A genuine team player
  • Experience with Xero

This is a rare part time opportunity to utilise your accounts skills whilst working with a supportive team and manager. Some prior experience in payroll is desirable though not essential. You will be given the opportunity to learn payroll and the system Employment Hero.
