Casual Event Lighting, Delivery & Installation Crew

Luxtree is looking for reliable, hands-on crew members to join our team in bringing large-scale event lighting installations to life. From setup to pack-down, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences across Perth.

About the Role

This is a physical and practical role that requires strength, attention to detail, willingness to learn and a commitment to working safely and efficiently. You'll be part of a supportive crew, handling everything from rigging truss frames to securing lighting equipment in unique event spaces. Training is provided on our systems and equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver, install and pack down lighting and event equipment for indoor and outdoor activations
  • Work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms (as required)
  • Load, unload, and transport event gear safely and efficiently
  • Connect and test plug-and-play electrical systems
  • Manage and secure cables to meet safety standards
  • Follow floorplans, layouts and instructions from supervisors
  • Assist with troubleshooting and ensure setups meet Luxtree's quality standards

Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to lift/move items up to 30kg
  • Basic electrical knowledge (plug-and-play level)
  • Current manual driver's licence (required)
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Preferred Extras

  • Previous experience in event setup, AV/lighting installation, construction, removals, or similar practical roles (highly preferred)
  • White Card
  • EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Police clearance
  • Forklift licence
